Our chosen Eotas provider not on council approved suppliers

We have two daughters who have EHCPs with EOTAS agreed. Good news.

We are wanting to use an online school for both girls. The council say the online provider is not on their supplier list and would have to go through their procurement processes. The council state we cannot request personal budget to use it for the school fees. And that we need to wait for the school to apply to the council and for the council to approve the provider.

The council's recommended provider for our eldest who is due to start a levels is a private tutoring firm who do not do A levels.

Both girls have been out of school since October and we are keen to start with the online provider by the start of the new academic year in September.

Any suggestions advice warmly appreciated!

Can a registered early years provision that offers specialist therapies to disabled children be named on an EOTAS plan?

The LA have agreed to consider an EOTAS package as no school can meet our sons complex combination of needs.

They have deemed that school would be suitable for him at the moment and he would be at risk of significant emotional harm.

We want to have him as part of the package and other therapies to access a specialist charity provision that is registered as an early years provider (nursery) is this possible?

Is there any where i can sourse legal presidence for this?

We have EOTAS following tribunal, with provision specified in section F. It is now five weeks since we received the tribunal order and the provision ...

... is not in place - ie we haven't received the personal budget. We have received a pb contract, but it doesn't include all the provision in section F. Some of which is really clear (eg 38 weeks instead of 39) and some I think the LA would consider open to interpretation, though seems pretty clear to me. I don't want to sign a contract that isn't correct, but I do need the money ASAP to pay the providers. Is my best option just an official complaint? Is there any wording to quote to potentially speed things up? Thank you

... transport costs - my car mileage - in taking my 13 year old child to and from these places. She has severe SEMH needs and will not allow anyone else to transport her. Is there law to support me claiming my car mileage; and can this be written into her EHCP? Many thanks.

Is there a minimum number of tutoring hours of education for for EOTAS or AP? I see mention that it is widely understood that one to one teaching would be more focused and therefore the same amount of hours as in school teaching would not be required. What would be a reasonable amount of tutoring one to one.?

08.155 Does section F have to be more specific if the child is receiving education otherwise than at school?

My daughter was 18 august, asd and anxiety, she's had eotas named since 2019. She gets tuition. LA have reduced tuition to 2hrs (from 11) this sept. ...

... Is there any laws about how many hours she can have? We have tribunal booked for jan 23. Unsure how strong our case will be given her age. Any advice?
