  Our greatest success was appealing the initial EHCP grant and obtaining almost full time 1:1 support for our child. The initial grant provided for only part time hours of 1:1 and we considered she needed much more support. We were advised to get a report from Educational Psychologist and specialist in Williams Syndrome, Dr Jo Van Herwegan at UCL, about our daughter's specific learning needs which greatly added weight to our appeal. This information was given to us via the Williams Syndrome Charity.
